Broadband Infrastructure — Rural Community Connectivity

📍 Oregon / Alaska

Fixed wireless broadband infrastructure design and deployment for rural community connectivity projects in Oregon and Alaska. Richesin Engineering deployed Cambium ePMP point-to-multipoint systems providing broadband to underserved households.

Work included tower-mounted sector antenna installation, point-to-point backhaul link alignment, subscriber unit installations at individual residences and businesses, and network management system setup with per-subscriber QoS policies.

⚠️ The Challenge

Achieving reliable line-of-sight coverage in forested and rolling high-desert terrain, managing interference from existing operators sharing the same spectrum, and executing subscriber installations efficiently across a large geographic area.

✅ Our Solution

Richesin Engineering used drone-assisted path surveys before finalizing tower locations, coordinated frequency plans using Cambium's LINKPlanner tool, and trained a subscriber installation team on efficient CPE mount and alignment workflows to reduce per-install time.
