Project Manager — Telecom

📍 Madras, OR (Hybrid/Travel)  •  Full-Time

The Role

Richesin Engineering builds real infrastructure in real places under real constraints. That means our Project Managers need to be serious practitioners — not just people who track spreadsheets and run status calls. You'll be managing fiber construction projects, ISP deployments, and government/tribal contracts that span multiple states and sometimes involve charters, permits, and timelines that don't care about your feelings.

We need a Project Manager with hands-on telecom or construction project experience, strong stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to keep complex, multi-party projects moving when things get messy — because they always do. PMP certification or an equivalent background is required. OSP construction, ISP deployments, or federal/tribal project experience is strongly preferred.

This role is hybrid out of our Madras, Oregon headquarters with travel to project sites as needed. If you're the kind of PM who builds relationships, holds scope, and takes genuine satisfaction in delivering on time and under budget, this is a place where that competence gets noticed and rewarded.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for telecom, fiber, and IT infrastructure projects
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, and risk registers
  • Coordinate with engineering, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Manage client relationships and serve as primary point of contact during delivery
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and change orders
  • Prepare and present project status reports to internal leadership and clients
  • Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies before they become problems
  • Ensure all work complies with regulatory, safety, and contractual requirements

What We're Looking For

  • PMP certification or equivalent demonstrated project management experience
  • 3+ years managing telecom, construction, or IT infrastructure projects
  • OSP construction, ISP deployment, or federal/tribal project experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of project financials including budget management and change control
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Monday, or similar)
  • Comfortable with hybrid work and project site travel as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects without losing the thread on any of them

The Honest Part

You will manage projects where "on schedule" means "the bush plane landed." You will be cc'd on emails that could have been texts. You will become fluent in the language of scope creep. In return, you will have the deep satisfaction of watching something get built and knowing you're the reason it happened on time and under budget.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay commensurate with experience
  • Meaningful work on projects that matter — real infrastructure, real communities
  • Travel opportunities across Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii, and beyond
  • A tight-knit team that trusts you to do your job well
  • Room to grow as the company grows
  • The satisfaction of working in places most companies won't go
